Q: Is this project worth keeping around?

No, this extension does not (yet) support .NET or VS2026 (officially) and hasn't been updated in a while.

There are three barriers to updating it:

1. There is a financial cost involved in renewing the signing certificate, required to publish an update.
2. There is a LOT of work involved in updating and testing updated functionality.
3. AI tooling has gotten really good at creating apps, such that the value of this now seems greatly reduced.

Do you have any reasons or arguments for keeping this going?
