No, this extension does not (yet) support .NET or VS2026 (officially) and hasn't been updated in a while.
There are three barriers to updating it:
- There is a financial cost involved in renewing the signing certificate, required to publish an update.
- There is a LOT of work involved in updating and testing updated functionality.
- AI tooling has gotten really good at creating apps, such that the value of this now seems greatly reduced.
