If the server is in maintenance mode or backing up better we can show a message in initializing bar otherwise users have to wait so long or may think it's not working.

Displaying messages in a bar can be helpful.

Need to investigate the error messages and try to provide better error messages in general rather than just always showing "Failed to connect"
