i'm working with ucrt64 and i've previously worked with mingw64. The terminal windows the software ships with are functional but they are kind of annoying (because of unix stuff if i had to guess, CTRL+V messes with the paste instead of pasting and stuff like that, that is common on linux but are weird af on windows)
anyways since Windows Terminal is pretty common among windows developers it'd be pretty nice if you could integrate by default or ask the user which terminal profiles they would like to have added during setup.
I use msys2 for my personal projects but in my university often during C classes and such msys2 is suggested as an option for windows users and i haven't found a single student who didn't complain about it because of the default terminal window and eventually switched to WSL. I get msys2 is not for everybody and for every use case but just adding it to Windows Terminal automatically would go a long way in my opinion
