comment/uncomment not working?

I installed the vue.xml into /.local/share/katepart5/syntax and the highlighting works fine but commenting and uncommenting seems to not work. Is this supported or do I need something else to enable commenting and uncommenting by shortcut?

I can confirm that it is not working right now but I am don't know when I'll be able to take a look at the issue.

Alright, thank you for taking a look anyway. Does commenting and uncommenting work for (any of) the other highlighting files? Maybe if I find the time I could take a look myself (using a working example)

Yes, it usually works. The main difference here is that this is a meta-syntax that delegates the HTML/JavaScript/CSS highlight to the corresponding syntaxes already defined in Kate.
