[data grid] Add flags to control auto-switching

Summary

Hey team, could you add some flags to disable empty page auto-switching back and auto-switching column sorting to none when the column doesn't exist?

I spent quite a lot of time debugging and searching for the reason behind the auto-switching in my code.

Motivation

Not all automatic behaviors are always necessary and can be delegated to the user, especially when server-side flags, queries, and cookies are used to pass parameters.

What do you mean by auto-switching? Is it the navigation from the empty page to the first one? Or something else?

When the page is empty, there is automatic navigation to the last non-empty page. I would like to have control over this behavior. Thanks.

Can you provide more details on how and for how long you are ending up with an empty page before you have some data again (I assume that this is the reason you don't want to move away from it)?

It will help us discuss potential workaround or updates to the grid.
