Could you explain the exact use case you are looking for ? Is it for global layers, or component/utils specific layers ?

Im using scss and tailwind and would like to make the pigment output be under a css layer, will that be supported in the future?

I see this now: #140, So I guess layers will be included in next versions? :)

I'm using the latest version of Pigment as of today (0.0.28) and the use of layers is causing some headaches. More specifically, because the Pigment styles are in a layer, they are getting overridden by less specific rules elsewhere:

e.g., trying to build an Icon Button component (as part of a larger enterprise library), the size of the icon is getting overridden by the default style of the MUI icon being passed in:
