Use wifi to sync multiple devices in a master slave setup

Hello,

Came accross this really cool project and was wondering if you had the idea of using pico-w to create a wifi based master slave setup. With one master board with screen to setup everything and send timecode trough wifi (create an access point) to other devices that would be slaves and would only output timecode from the master, wirelessly.

Would be really cool as far as I understand how all this works.

This project implements the counter for TC within the PIO blocks, so once started all the CPU has to do is pre-calc the bitstream and load it into the FIFOs before it's actually needed.

The PIOs are started from a pin, normally derived from the incoming LTC. I think it would be possible to initate a 'trigger' protocol via wireless but I'm not sure that WiFi is best. Maybe if there was some form of NTP server/client group making an accurate 1PPS.
