app/ui/views/BaseView: make pageTransition properties functions instead of strings

This was brought up at the Lavaca meeting on 2014-07-23. If pageTransition is specified as a function, call the function. If it's a string, set a class for CSS transitions (like we do now). This would be to have the option to use animation techniques other than class-based CSS transitions.
