Backdrop displayed too large

Hi!

When enabling the workspace thumbnails in the switcher popup, I always get a backdrop that is way larger than it should be:

This is likely due to my setup:

• Laptop with 3K display at 125% fractional scaling, lid closed
• 4K display at 100%

I've seen that the calculations are using some magic numbers. I'll toy around a bit in the hopes of creating a PR.

I also have GNOME Shell 46 on Ubuntu 24.04 and I don't see this. Do you have any other extensions installed?

That might be an interaction with Blur My Shell.
