In the latest version, left-clicking with the mouse cannot select files, and the onSelect event is not triggered. Only right-clicking can select a single file, or you have to use box selection to select files. This bug is too serious!

In your demo page, "https://vuefinder.ozdemir.be/examples/basic-usage.html", I cannot select files or folders with the left mouse button using the Edge （ver:143.0.3650.80）browser that comes with Windows 10. I also cannot use Ctrl + left click to select any files or folders.

Tried on a win11 machine. Edge v139.0.3405.125 and v143.0.3650.80 has no problem.

Can you refresh the page with: ctrl+shift+R .

And open the console to look if there is an error.

I found the problem. My laptop has a touchscreen feature. When I disable the touchscreen, the left mouse button works normally. When the touchscreen is enabled, I can use it to select folders, but the left mouse button cannot select them.

Thanks for the update — that’s a very useful finding.

At the moment, I don’t yet have a proper test environment with a touchscreen-enabled device, so I can’t reliably reproduce and validate a fix on my side. That’s why this may take a bit longer.
That said, I’m continuously looking into the event-handling layer and this clearly helps narrow the root cause.

Most likely, this will require a more explicit pointerdown / pointerup handling or a guard to correctly differentiate between touch and mouse inputs.

That being said, I’ve also updated the Node.js version used for the documentation site from v20 to v25. I don’t believe this change is directly related to the issue, but for clarity: the documentation site is now compiled and built using the newer Node.js version.

It should be fixed atm.. can you update it to latest via npm update and try again?
