+1! I'm not the OP, but I'm also really looking forward to this.
Ideally,
status bar lyrics (like this project: https://github.com/tomakino/lyricon) would be amazing. However, if modifying the status bar requires root access or is too restricted on non-rooted devices, having a floating lyrics window would be a fantastic alternative!

@tdlac project looks very nice, and yeah as u mentioned it would require at least xposed to make it possible, something out of scope now
a floating lyrics window sounds nice but would be kinda complicated to manage now (it would require communication between 2 activities(almost apps), since namida is not a native android app and code is usually in dart)

notifications on the other hand would be easily possible but not very useful imo

idk if this feature would come any soon
