Is there a particular reason why we cannot set custom port in NAPALM open method?

PanXapi class supports port variuable:

add port variable to PANOSDriver class!

Use Case

we are not using port 443 on our paolo_ato devices for management.

Yea, I think you just need to set the default. Apparently there is at least one place there is a port being used.
