Hi everyone,
tl;dr - I'm trying to build cFS for an SP0-S (PowerPC) running VxWorks6.9, has anyone done this or something similar that would be willing to share steps to get it to work?
Longer version:
I've got cFS compiling and running on linux and now I'm trying to compile and run it on an SP0-S with VxWorks6.9. I can get something to compile, but it won't run on the SP0. The error I get is 0xb20001 (which I can't find a definition for). I've successfully compiled a run a hello world app on the SP0 using Wind River's tools.
Here's the basic steps I've been using:
Clone cFS with submodules git clone --recurse-submodules https://github.com/nasa/cFS.git
Copy the sample makefile and sample_defs from cfe
Change cpu1_SYSTEM in targets.cmake to ppc-vxworks6.9
Remove some compile options that cause errors in arch_build_custom.cmake
"Fix" a problem with the missing mcpx750.h file in psp
Run the script to set up my environment for compiling with WindRiver's tools /WindRiver/wrenv.sh -p vxworks-6.9
make distclean
make SIMULATION=ppc-vxworks6.9 prep
make
make install
Then copy the generated executable and try to run it
