Homebrewery would greatly benefit from having a mechanism to flow content between designated text frames across pages (or within pages). This is obvious and has been for a long time, but I don't believe we've ever had an issue open for it, please let me know if I've missed one. I think that we've just always felt like "it's not a web feature, it's never going to happen".
Getting flowing content would be huge.
- Using
\page for only custom page breaks
- Changing document dimensions and not manually adjusting page breaks
- Inserting additional content or images without adjusting breaks
So here is a proper issue for it. Maybe here we can think about how to do it, what would be required for it or "nice to have" behaviors/extensions etc.
Edit in response to @5e-Cleric's response, putting it up front:
Its a huge pain to do something like this, as far as i know, that's why such a feature does not exist
It's still worth having the issue open, as we may incrementally come to some solution over time. Discussions about possibilities don't have to happen in gitter, run their course, and then effectively disappear, only to be discussed again a year later. Either some solution is found, or we have a good record of what has been proposed or tried.
