Microservices foundations #40
Description
Background
With the development of Document AI and the acquisition of Beam, there are foreseeable opportunities to add multiple other microservices, similar to Document AI, that can be deployed independently or as part of a monorepo with other applications. With the anticipation of repos that have many microservices, we anticipate needing to work on some foundational pieces to support that architecture.
Description
Updates and refactors of the template infra architecture to support a relatively larger number of applications and microservices in a maintainable manner.

- Work related to specific microservices will be captured in their own epics
- Depending on priority, we may decide to split up the work for different cloud providers into different epics

- The full list of microservices and use cases we intend to support is not yet known at this time
- There may be impacts to the architecture in ways that increase scope if they fundamentally change important interfaces
