Is inline emphasis supported?

I've tried things like:

• This *word* needs emphasis ==> says "asterisk word asterisk".
• This WORD needs emphasis ==> no effect.
• This <emphasis level="2">word</emphasis> needs emphasis ==> speaks the tag text before and after 'word'
• This [word](+2) needs emphasis. ==> no effect.

No, currently kokoro-tts does not support "inline emphasis."
