Metadata Override and Double Album support

I love this app so far, and I've been using it alongside substreamer to stream my CDs, but there are a couple major requests I'd like to make. The first is partially due to how I rip my CDs, but it'd be nice to be able to change some metadata for an entire album (such as the year of release), as many of my CDs have the date of the issue and not the release date in the metadata. Related to metadata, double albums don't present themselves properly in the album view, it appears as 1,1 2,2 3,3, etc,etc. Both of these issues could be resolved if we could assign metadata from databases such as MusicBrainz or AllMusic.

Some sort of metadata override feature (or the ability to change metadata fields) would be a great addition and would make categorizing much easier.

Could you elaborate, what do you mean by "double albums"? Do you mean albums consisting of multiple discs or something else? Can you show a screenshot of the issue?

On the metadata editing, it's basically a strategic choice to leave this out-of-scope of this application. I have only limited time to use with this project, and the editing of files is potentially destructive action, hence requiring much more rigorous testing than just viewing. There are also excellent offline applications for the metadata editing. Personally, I have mostly used Mp3tag for my mass-tagging needs. You can also use MusicBrainz Picard to tag the files automatically according to the MusicBrainz data.
