Diacritics support #125

Hey, as I'm new to GitHub, I'm not sure where to put this request or a question rather, so I hope it's alright here.
In any case, thanks for this great tool, it does all I would want from it (and much more), except for one thing - it doesn't support diacritics (or the extended latin alphabet) for some reason and I'm in need of just that as I'm making a language oriented game atm. To be percise the program let's me write a "č" or a "u" with an umlaut, but when I hit enter to confirm it, the symbol gets deleted, leaving an empty field.
Should anyone know any way to integrate more encodings than just the latin standard, I'll be glad for the help. I'm looking into the (open-)source atm, but I can't seem to find anything useful.
