Does dev version support bl 280 now?

I was wondering if the dev branch bl280 is supported by bl280 fully?

Saw this awesome addon you made couple days ago and was looking at it today. I noticed a other user making something similar, perhaps a waste of his time if this one fully works already. I know how much time i can take to make an addon and also get it to work properly.

I haven't seen the other addon you're referencing. Could you post a link? I have been trying to get this to work as well in blender 2.8 with no luck.
