Tunnelblick requires openvpn-down-root.so

I'm playing around with nailed and ran into:

2026-03-24 09:44:52.016 Tunnelblick[1902:56388] Beginning installation or repair
2026-03-24 09:44:53.101 installer[1920:56563] File '/Library/Application Support/Tunnelblick/Openvpn/openvpn-2.7.0-openssl-3.5.5_nailed/openvpn-down-root.so' must exist but does not
2026-03-24 09:44:53.101 installer[1920:56563] Tunnelblick installer failed

This prevents any openvpn configuration from being imported if the nailed pkcs11 enabled openvpn pkg is installed.

I'm not sure if this is a Tunnelblick bug or a actual requirement from Tunnelblick.

I think the easiest solution would be to build a matched openvpn-down-root.so and package it along with openvpn-2.7.0-openssl-3.5.5_nailed.

Hi! Thanks for the report. Check out https://github.com/ne-bknn/nailed/releases/tag/v1.4.1-rc1 - would appreciate further feedback, currently don't have a mac to test on.
