Elgato Streamdeck Profiles

Only found out about this recently but Elgato offers profiles for their streamdecks Would it be possible to integrate these into OpenDeck?

Obviously the schema of opendeck and elgato would be different but i do know that its similar to plugins where its packaged with a manifest.json and the entire proifles themself are in JSON format so maybe possible?

It is definitely possible, just no one has done it. There's also no documentation on the profile format so it would be pretty sketchy, but you seem to know a little about it so maybe you could give it a shot.

Quick question, within opendeck profiles where is the data stored from propertyinspector? Im looking into the profiles and it states what buttons are where but not where the data within those buttons are

Each action instance has a settings field which is where the data from the setSettings event is kept. I'd recommend looking at the shared.rs file in the OpenDeck source for a proper schema

We can't be sure, but don't count on it that it will stay DRM-Free forever.
