change background color for C/C++ "type" ?

Hi,
I've some issue with my current setup when selecting C++ code that contains "types" : the background stay the same as unselected code

on the above, the u32codepoint "type", ucs "type" stay dark, as in non selected when it should switch to some greyhish like selected constexpr, public:, class.... this is annoying when selecting only type words, for which I don't know what I selected

my colorscheme is a tunned theme based on monokai.vim, if it's help
