wrong HOME dir for root user (/home/root instead of /root)

nvim seeks for config and data in /home/root instead of /root

I guess this depends on what $HOME is set to. /home/root is probably just a guess that Nvim makes if $HOME isn't set, or maybe it's the result of uv_os_homedir.

How are you starting nvim, are you doing sudo nvim or are you running as root already in a shell? And what is $HOME in that shell? And what is :echo $HOME from Nvim?
