will nerfstudio run in RTX 5090?

i am trying to run the nerfstudio in rtx 5090.
while initiating the training, i am getting this error:
UserWarning:
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 with CUDA capability sm_120 is not compatible with the current PyTorch installation.
The current PyTorch install supports CUDA capabilities sm_50 sm_60 sm_61 sm_70 sm_75 sm_80 sm_86 sm_90.
If you want to use the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 GPU with PyTorch, please check the instructions at https://pytorch.org/get-started/locally/

is there any way to make this compatible?

It's actually possible! A lot of tinkering was required. Loose recollection from my notes says, (I was on Windows and I also remember downloading some c++ visual studio stuff) :

Ok so today, the pytorch should not be nightly version but 2.7.1. Check one of the last comments on this issue.

I created an empty conda python=3.10 environment and

conda activate nerfstudio1

set CUDA_HOME=C:\Program Files\NVIDIA GPU Computing Toolkit\CUDA\v12.8

pip3 install torch==2.7.1 torchvision --index-url https://download.pytorch.org/whl/cu128

This is far as I know.
