I am on a company network team so I apologize about lack of linux experience.
I have been tasked with setting up a poc of netbox. We want to use it primarily for IPAM, but there are other plugins that I think we may be able to utilize.
From what I have read the docker install is the quick easy set up way. Correct?
and it will/can auto update when new releases are out.
Would this be the path I should go?
Are there any good pretty easy to follow instructions to install?
I found this youtube, and it got the server up and running.
https://gist.github.com/edmondgyampoh/b4931072ff5d1b9d96837ed632be6936
are these solid instructions?
I just dont know how to install any plugins for it.
I would like to install diode plug in and then maybe the bgp, and ACL.
I also found this:
https://github.com/netbox-community/netbox-docker/wiki/Using-Netbox-Plugins
can I use the youtube instructions for step #1 Fresh install in the above?
Diode server:
I followed this and was able to comlete it
https://netboxlabs.com/docs/diode/getting-started/
but I get stuck on the plugin section as (lack of linux), I dont know how to get past step #1
