Script Help

There's a super handy script in the "Customization" repository called "Add Device Type Components". I am not a coder, so I was wondering if anyone could make a script that does a similar thing, but for modules. I have 400+ installed modules that I need to update with a change I made to the module-type template, and I really don't want to do it 1 by 1.
