Has anyone made a printer friendly cable trace layout?

We are just switching to netbox from an inhouse solution.

We often have cable paths with 3-4 hops from device to device through panels.

Our current system allow users to print off the path in about 2 inches on a single page.

If you print the netbox equivilent its about 6 pages.

Would having a textual version or print view that prints nicer be possible?

Ideas anyone?

I have been able to make a script that calls the interface.trace() function.
This can provide a more textual version.
I could make a custom link for interface objects and link to my custom script maybe but an integration on the trace page would be nicer.

Thoughts? anyone?

Can I create a custom link that could prefill the variables on the custom script execution page? (not execute the scipt, just aloow me to link to the script page and not have to re-lookup the object to pass into the script) ?
