Steps to Reproduce

1. Launch netbox with the image version v4.5.-3.4.2 from dockerhub.

Expected Behavior

Netbox to successfully boot up and container not crashing.

Observed Behavior

Container crashing with the below logs:

netbox ImportError: cannot import name 'NetBoxModelFilterMixin' from 'netbox.graphql.filter_mixins' (/opt/netbox/netbox/netbox/graphql/filter_mixins.py)
netbox [ Use DB_WAIT_DEBUG=1 in netbox.env to print full traceback for errors here ]
netbox ⏳ Waiting on DB... (0s / 30s)
stream closed: EOF for infra/netbox-6764f78f59-g4sz5 (init-dirs)

It appears that the module is removed in the latest release as a part of cc935db but still expected.

@deepc294, is this reproducible in vanilla NetBox? If so, we need STR for doing that. If not, then we should move this issue to the docker-netbox repo.

I'm starting to believe this is caused by one of the plugins you're installing. You're correct that commit above removed NetBoxFilterMixin. While many plugins received proactive maintenance ahead of the v4.5 NetBox release (example), not all have.

Given that, I'm going to move this issue to our discussion area to see if anyone in the community can be of assistance.

Yes, that makes sense. I’ll try installing a vanilla NetBox instance first and then add plugins incrementally to identify which one is causing the issue.

I’ll update this thread once I’ve completed the testing in case it helps others running into the same problem.
