Add IP address virtual machine pull-down missing interfaces

Hi,
We are in the process of populating Netbox and seemed to have hit a limitation. When adding an IP address, the Assignment -> Virtual Machine Interface drop-down doesn't show all the interfaces we've created. I saw another post about setting PAGINATE_COUNT, but couldn't seem to get that to work. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi Mike,

Thanks for bringing this up! This is expected behavior. To avoid expensive database/API queries, NetBox doesn’t load every interface into the drop-down by default.

You can either:

• Start typing in the field to search/filter by interface name, or
• Click the selector icon next to the field to open the full chooser, where you can filter by attributes such as the Virtual Machine.
