Steps to Reproduce

1. Install Netbox 4.6.0 using the Ansible role 'lae.netbox'. It will crash at the 'TASK [lae.netbox: Run database migrations for NetBox]' stage.

Do it manually

1. Activate virtual environment.
2. Change to the Netbox directory.
3. Run './manage.py migrate'.
   it crashes at the same Call

Expected Behavior

The migration runs ends sucessfully.

Updating to version 4.5.10 instead of 4.6.0 prevents the error from occurring.

My case problem were ipam->application services->ports has range 49152-65535.
In previous versions there are no problems one. I faced it on version 4.6
May be changed storage format.
Find the reason the following advice from AI helped me.
"1. Temporarily bypass the index in the migration
Open the NetBox migration file in your code editor:/opt/netbox/netbox/ipam/migrations/0089_default_ordering_indexes.py
Comment out or remove the index creation block (the add_index or alter_field section targeting the ordering constraints).
Run the migrations again using ./manage.py migrate.
2. Identify and trim oversized database rows
Connect to your database (psql -U netbox).
Investigate the ipam_ipaddress or ipam_prefix tables to find entries with extremely long fields or heavy text payloads.
Edit or delete these objects to shorten their data footprint."

Hi I understand the workaround posted above, but what am I supposed to do when I have an application service with a big port range like RTP. Is the only solution to not document the ports used netbox?
