Custom Fields for interface on the Device Type

We have created CustomFields for interface, but these custom Fields are only available on the interface of a device. Is-it possible to have the custom fields available from the Device Type too ? Thanks for the feedback

Hi,

the interfaces at the device types / module types are not directly the Interface Object thats are Interface Templates, see Interface Templates

Custom fields are not applicable for the Interface Template Object. If you create a new device or install a module, then the Interface Templates are applied as Interface Objects to the device.

I don't know your exact use case but you want to create a custom field, for example interface template as selection cf.
Then you want to select this interface template on the device type and when you create a new device, the interface should have this custom field preselected?
