Offline Database does not display passwords for Azure AD users
Issue Description
We have identified an issue affecting two Azure AD users.
The offline database can be created successfully and the offline synchronization completes without any visible errors. However, when opening the Offline Client, no passwords are displayed. In addition, no organizational units (OUs) are visible.
The same users can log in to the Online Client without any issues and all passwords are displayed correctly there.
Environment
- Authentication: Azure AD
- Affected users: 2
- Offline database creation: Successful
- Offline synchronization: Successful
- Online Client: Passwords visible
- Offline Client: No OUs and no passwords visible
What we have verified
- Login is performed with the same user ID in both Online and Offline Client.
- The affected users can see all assigned passwords in the Online Client.
- The Offline Database was created successfully.
- The Offline Client can be opened using the configured offline password.
- No OUs are displayed in the Offline Client.
- No passwords are displayed in the Offline Client.
Expected Behavior
After a successful offline synchronization, the Offline Client should display the same OUs and passwords that are available to the user in the Online Client.
Actual Behavior
The Offline Client opens successfully, but no OUs and no passwords are displayed.
Additional Question
Are there any known limitations, permissions, or Azure AD specific requirements that could prevent passwords and OUs from being available in the Offline Client while they are visible in the Online Client?
