New app icon suggestions

This started as answers to #24 but i figured i should open a dedicated discussion thread for it.

Witg its new name "RoundSync" this app probably also needs a new icon, so i made my own suggestions (see comments below).

Down below, my own three original suggestiont. Keep in mind these are sketches that are only provided to give and share ideas. These looks are not final in any way!

The common denominator in all of them is the "fat" or round-shaped-folder, with arrows to symbolize synching.

1. Arrows in circle around a fat folder picture. the circle isn't entirely represented, cut in its bottom part a small distance after its middle point.
   
2. Fat folder with an arrow going all around from its front to behind and back to its front, like saturn's rings.
   
3. Same idea as previously, with less depth to the circling arrow, split in two arrows and a more visible round shape.

Not that my opinion matters as I'm just a user of the app, but throwing it in anyway. You might want to reconsider the general shape of the folder. It looks awfully lot like a toilet seat and the brown color isn't helping. Sorry!

Haha yes, i see it now. As i said, the colours are not mandatory (also i'm colourblind). If this design is choosen, the overall design will be more clean and is won'tqlook like a toilet ;)

Generally i like the third one, (besides maybe the toilet-shape ^^) i had a similar idea a while back. However, i am not really good enough to design such an icon properly, so i cant create one sadly.

I had the green arrow for a while (the one you posted below), but i didnt like that either so i changed it to the RS it is now.

This is the icon suggested by @newhinton after the app's name change:

it works but it is a bit too simple in my opinion.

1. it doesn't suggest "round" as much as it suggests "inverted capital G" to me! this can be improved with an even more spirally arrow.
2. a lone arrow doesn't really convey the idea of data "exchange" between a server and a client.
3. doesn't have much of an identity :/

i've had the time to test a cleaner design. tell me what you think about the shape, colors…

1. a bit sketchy but with personality
   

2. less sketchy, more centered.
