"No messages" empty view without text

Steps to reproduce

1. Open the app
2. Configure an account
3. Search too specifically, so that you get no results

Expected behavior

I see "No messages"

Actual behavior

I see

on hover I see "No messages"

Can't reproduce it anymore.

i can still reproduce it in some scenarios

In the following scenario I still get an empty page:

On the web page
Select the "List" Layout
Select and then delete the top most email

I get a completely empty page just with the arrow on the top left to go back.

Correct behavior would be to go automatically back to the list instead of forcing the user to click.
