[Feature Request] Plain-text rendering for R scripts #517

Description

@CMR248

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
ARCitect currently does not display or open R script files (.R) in the editor. Since R scripts are plain text files, the lack of support seems unnecessary and disrupts workflows. R is widely used in plant science, so this limitation affects a significant portion of the user community.

Describe the solution you'd like
Enable ARCitect to open and display .R files in the built-in editor. Basic plain-text rendering would already resolve the issue. Optional future enhancement: syntax highlighting for R.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Users must open R scripts in external editors or convert them to different text formats before viewing them in ARCitect. Both workarounds cause friction and break the workflow.

Additional context
This issue was reported by a user who also provided a screenshot illustrating that .R files do not show up in the ARCitect editor.
