How to stop or shutdownhook Unit Java App?

Hello,

To stop any application in Unit, remove it from the configuration. Of course, you need to remove all references to application from listeners and routers before removing application itself. This should work for Java applications.

If your application does not stops, it can be a bug in Unit, environment, configuration problem or issue with particular application. Please share some details to get a more valuable answer.

To shutdown Java Web Application, Unit makes calls according to Java Servlet Container specification:

• destroy() for each Servlet and Filter instance;
• destroyContext() for each ServletContextListener instance;
