Different view mode? #76

There is a top-down view at the bottom right in the demonstration video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=keIirXrRb1k. I wonder is that preprocessed or generated in real-time?
I was running the office3 dataset and I was not able to get this view. I tried pressing according to the text in the FriedLiver window to "Switch to free-view mode" but that did not seem to work. I also found the renderTopDown function in the code and tried setting s_generateVideo = true, but that resulted in the FriedLiver window being completely black and the output images in the reconstruction and reconstruction_color directories were also all black.
What is the correct way to enable the top-down view mode?
