Building on Ubuntu 15.10 i386 fails unless shlibs signing is turned off #32

I need to apply the following patch on Ubuntu 15.10 (and 15.04), otherwise the i386 builds will fail.
This happended for me when I was building on Launchpad and in a schroot environment on 14.04.
