AAPS freezes if BT communication with Medtrum is disrupted

For several weeks now, I have noticed that AAPS freezes when I leave the room (during communication between AAPS and Medtrum). Afterwards, the app interface is blank or unusable, Android says that AAPS is not responding and asks if I want to wait. Restarting the app fixes the problem.
Today, the problem occurred again with yesterday's dev (including individual private changes, but these do not affect this area).
Looking at the log, I suspect that AAPS was still working at 16:18:54, after which futile attempts to connect to Medtrum began, before Medtrum Service reached IdleState at 16:20:02. From then on, there is very little activity in the log...

There was another freeze today. This time after syncing with Nightscout – the Medtrum pump was apparently not involved this time.
