how can I access the driver property from selenium-webdriver

hi,

im trying to figure out how I can access the driver property from an existing nightwatch session.
for example : how can I execute selenium driver commands within nightwatch

await browser.url("https://duckduckgo.com");   

let driver = convertNwBrowserToDriver(browser);
await driver.get("https://www.cochlear.com/us/en/home")
await driver.findElement(By.css(".login > span")).click()
await driver.findElement(By.id("email")).sendKeys("")

It's available as browser.driver by default.

this doesn't work for me Im using :
"nightwatch": "1.7.11",
"nightwatch-api": "3.0.2",

We have a custom build testing framework that is using nightwatch with cucumber-js.
Any suggestions how I can get the driver out of the client object from the nw-api library
