How to get text and store it in a variable which is declared outside the getText() function?

// now result.value I want to store it inside textVar variable so that I can use it in some other lines of code

I generally in the calback function use FS to store the value in a file

I have a file
module.exports = {

value: {
vendorAccount: 'ACNT_NAME',//ACNT _NAME
VendorGrp:'Vendor_Grp',//Vendor _Grp
CustomerAccount:'Customer_Account',//Customer _Account }}

Then for exanple I find and replace ACNT_NAME. Then I can call vendorAccount later.
