Upgrade to NixOS 25.11?

First, big thanks for NixOS WSL. It has worked like a charm!

NixOS 25.05 is now deprecated. I noticed NixOS-WSL lags few months behind NixOS releases. Is there a way to upgrade nixos channel to 25.11 even keeping nixos-wsl 25.05? It sounds asking for trouble, but I am using my WSL shell to manage and rebuild 3 other NixOS hosts and I am afraid the nixos-rebuild --build-host --target-host will fail if the channels on the target and build host do not match.

Using master should work on 25.11.

Thanks, how can I add nixos-wsl master branch as a channel? The docs mention only release 25.05.

Just replace release-25.05 with master in the URL.

There is also a release-25.11 channel. master targets nixos-unstable
