I have found the kde module to be somewhat restrictive in configuration and overwrites most of my settings when using plasma-manager. these new options should provide more granular customization of the kde module.

I have a pull request #2018 implementing these changes.

this is my first PR with a nix repo, and I am still familiarizing myself with how to set up testbeds so let me know if I did anything wrong. particularly the kde testbed where i added packages to test functionality. that is probably not the best approach for testing.
