Starting the migration with a certain configuration.json (worked until a few weeks perfectly!) I get the following erro:

Unbehandelte Ausnahme: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Die Datei oder Assembly "Microsoft.Extensions.Hosting.Abstractions, Version=8.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=adb9793829ddae60" oder eine Abhängigkeit davon wurde nicht gefunden. Das System kann die angegebene Datei nicht finden.

I added the mentioned dll in the mentioned version in the folder, but no result... can you help?

BTW, I reinstalled using chocolatey and I have .NET 8.0 SDK installed...no suggestions ?

Did you unlock the zip before extracting it?

Installing version 16.0.9 by using the zip file (and starting with .\devopsmigration [...] command did the job; choco's forced installation of 16.0.9 in addition worked.

There is a block on some files when you download over zip, and you need to mark them as safe before unzipping. If you have unzipped you can mark each file, but its much easier to unlock the first.
