Closed date is updating to current date and not the actual closed date.

We migrated 140 work items from the source to the target system. Among these, 63 bugs show today's date as the Closed Date instead of the original date from the source. This is a system field with the reference name Microsoft.VSTS.Common.ClosedDate.
