Errors we've encountered during recent migration to Azure DevOps cloud:

• many workitems were which were moved from one project to another caused errors due to change of historical area/iteration path
• historical changes of process templates caused mapping errors

Is the tool capable to bypass those errors?

we use version 16.1.0

These should not cause errors.

This will trigger a request to mapp the paths. Generic mapprs can be added with regex to catch all missing area/iterations. Can you specify what errors you are getting?

We do not access the process template when mapping or migrating. We only look at the fields on the work item. Can you specify what errors you are getting?
