TfsWorkItemMigrationProcessor: is it possible to remove (via <migration user>) from Work Item History #3087

Hello, First of all, I should mention that this is my first migration (currently from on-premises TFS to the cloud), so I started by performing a test migration of work items. After the migration, I noticed that each Work Item history entry looks like this: John Johnson (via Name Name) created the User Story Here, “Name Name” is the user account that was used to execute the migration. This “(via Name Name)” part appears on every history entry, which makes the history harder to read and may cause confusion for users. My question is: Is there any way to remove the “(via Name Name)” part from Work Item history entries? I’ve checked the documentation and searched GitHub but haven’t found an answer so far. Maybe I must use String Manipulator Tool or something like that... 
Any guidance would be appreciated. |

No, the "via XXX" is mandatory and part of the API. It indecates that the change was not actually done by the real user, but an "on behalf of" user. |
