Description
What is the current maintenance status of mod_xsendfile?
Judging from what I have seen, the last commit happened more than 10 years ago, although at least in my setup it mostly works without any real issues. There already have been some discussions about the current state as well, as in #27 (comment) or https://serverfault.com/questions/879130/is-mod-xsendfile-deprecated. Some other projects like https://github.com/moggers87/django-sendfile2/issues/39#issuecomment-1177732557 which provide a xsendfile backend implementation seem to consider mod_xsendfile dead as well.
