Is swiper vue future proof?

I'm working on an internal ticket which is about to replace swiper vue with swiper web component because the former isn't considered future proof.

It refers to this hint on the swiper website: https://v9.swiperjs.com/vue

Swiper Vue components will likely to be removed in future versions. It is recommended to migrate to Swiper Element instead.

The current website however doesn't mention this anymore https://swiperjs.com/vue

Does this mean it's safe to continue using swiper vue, even for new projects? Or what's the status of swiper vue?

I couldn't find any explanation why the hint has been removed from the website
