This new release adds an implementation of the generalized alpha method for numerical time integration that includes controllable numerical damping to mitigate solution errors emanating from spatially under resolved dynamical modes. Such newly available numerical damping also assists with obtaining stable solutions in contexts where CU-BEN in being called as part of a partitioned fluid-structure interaction modeling framework involving a separate CFD software tool.
