Releases: nonlinearfun/CU-BENs
CU-BENs version 4.1.2
Streamlined the make system. Updated documentation. Made minor changes to better support UMFPACK.
CU-BENs version 4.1
Re-introduced sparse direct solution capability for use with acoustic FSI analyses, streamlined makefile, added directory of example input files.
CU-BENs version 4.0.3
Updated license agreement and added documentation files.
CU-BENs version 4.0.2
Minor updates to preprocessing code and solve.c
CU-BENs version 4.0.1
Minor updates to fix post processing code and main.c header comment block, so as to conform with new restart capabilities, etc.
CU-BENs version 4.0
This new version allows for solution restart, as well as prescribed boundary motions.
CU-BENs version 3.1415
This new release adds an implementation of the generalized alpha method for numerical time integration that includes controllable numerical damping to mitigate solution errors emanating from spatially under resolved dynamical modes. Such newly available numerical damping also assists with obtaining stable solutions in contexts where CU-BEN in being called as part of a partitioned fluid-structure interaction modeling framework involving a separate CFD software tool.
CU-BENs version 3.14
Solution robustness using combined geometric and material nonlinearity has been improved for Newmark time integration within transient dynamic analyses.
CU-BENs version 3.04
Very rudimentary pre-processing and plotting routines (written in Python) have been added to this release, along with very minor adjustment to the CU-BENs source code (removing redundant code blocks).
CU-BENs version 3.0
Nonlinear analysis capability enabled for use with Newmark time integration within transient dynamic analyses
